The ruins can be visited after sunset too.
Until 10 October 2026 the archaeological sites of Greater Pompeii open every Friday and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with last entry at 10:30 PM. In Pompeii the next evenings are Saturday 19 and 26 September and Saturday 10 October, with two itineraries: from Piazza Anfiteatro, through the Palestra Grande with its plaster casts and some of the finest domus, or to the Villa dei Misteri, with a free shuttle to Villa Regina in Boscoreale. Fridays are dedicated to Oplontis and the villas of Stabia.
Tickets 7 euros per itinerary. Our concierge is happy to help with information and bookings.
